ACTIVE INGREDIENT
Valeriana officinalis tincture 2 mL/25 mL from dry root, rhizome & stolon 1 g/25 mL

ORAL USE
Sedative Wine contains the ingredient Valerian, traditionally used in western herbal medicine:
• to relieve sleeplessness, restlessness and excess nervous energy
• as a calmative and nervous system relaxant
• as a nervine to support the nervous system (has antispasmodic action)
• to help reduce occurrence of irritability

This product has been formulated using the non-active ingredient Sweet Apera wine.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Adults - as a calmative take 25 mL 2 to 3 times daily, for sleeplessness take 25 mL in the afternoon and 25 mL before bedtime (between meals). There are no restrictions on duration of use.

WARNINGS
May cause drowsiness.
Contains alcohol (ethanol) 20.7% v/v and sulfites (sulfur dioxide). Always read the label. Follow the directions for use. Do not use if pregnant, breastfeeding or if taking other sedatives. Warning: In rare cases, Valerian may harm the liver. Stop use and see a doctor if you have yellowing skin/eyes or unusual: fatigue, nausea, appetite loss, abdominal pain, dark urine or itching.
Do not use if cap seal is broken.
